Ruined by Mel Bosworth

When I was a kid I loved scaring people and I hated my older brother. So one day I decided I was going to play a prank on him. I put on a hockey mask and hid in his closet. When he came into the room I jumped out but it didn’t scare him. He slapped me on the side of the head and told me I was stupid.

The next day I tried again but this time I brought Dad’s ax into the closet with me. When I jumped out it still didn’t scare him and he kicked me in the shin and told me I was a girl.

The next day I just flat out killed him with the ax. He was scared for like a second.

I still like to scare people and I work in an office now with lots of people I don’t know. The scaring was going pretty good for a while but then it somehow got around that I killed my brother with an ax when I was a kid. Now I don’t even have to try scare people. They just freak out automatically. The other day I decided to do a test so I hid behind a coat rack. I knew people could see me because there was only one coat on the rack and it was a small one. But when I jumped out a bunch of people screamed anyway. I told them they were all full of shit and then I sat at my desk and cried.
